Logistics Supervisor

Job Summary

Oversee and coordinate all site logistics activities for a construction project in Malaysia, including material delivery planning, equipment movement, traffic control, and storage arrangements. Ensures smooth site operations, timely material flow, and compliance with safety and company procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Construction Management or related field.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in construction site logistics (residential project preferred).
  • Good knowledge of site operations, material handling, equipment movement, and delivery scheduling.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work at construction sites and under fast-paced environments.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, site reporting, and basic documentation.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and site compliance procedures.
  • Possess own transport and willing to work extended hours if required.

Job Requirements

  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily material deliveries, equipment movement, and unloading activities.
  • Monitor and manage site storage areas, ensuring proper organization, safety, and accessibility.
  • Work closely with the site manager, procurement team, and subcontractors to meet project schedules.
  • Track and update material inventory, ensuring sufficient stock levels and reducing wastage.
  • Verify and record incoming materials, ensuring accuracy of delivery orders (DOs) and quality checks.
  • Manage traffic flow within the site, including vehicle entry/exit and safety compliance.
  • Ensure all logistics activities follow site safety rules, CIDB regulations, and company SOPs.
  • Resolve any delivery delays, shortages, or logistics issues promptly.
  • Prepare daily/weekly logistics reports and update management on progress.
  • Supervise and guide storekeepers, general workers, and drivers involved in logistics tasks.
