M&E Coordinator
Job Summary
M&E Coordinator will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and maintaining documentation related to M&E works, including drawings, method statements, materials, samples, and work progress reports.
Job Responsibilities
- Review all M&E drawings to identify discrepancies with architectural and structural drawings.
- Manage the control and distribution of M&E drawings on site to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Coordinate, supervise, and monitor the activities and manpower of all M&E subcontractors on site.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Organize and lead regular M&E coordination meetings with subcontractors to discuss progress, resolve issues, and ensure effective collaboration among all stakeholders.
- Ensure that all M&E installations comply with tender technical specifications, approved drawings, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections to verify the quality of workmanship and identify any deviations for immediate resolution.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Any other duties assigned by the Superior and/or the Management.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or any related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in M&E coordination function in the construction industry, preferably in high-rise building or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of M&E civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and building codes/regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Experience in project scheduling, resource allocation, and coordinating activities to ensure timely project delivery.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with contractors, workers, and clients.
- Problem-solving skills to address and resolve site issues promptly.
