Manager - Project Sales

Job Summary

Lead sales planning and team management to meet annual targets, nurture existing client relationships, and drive business growth by acquiring new customers.  

Job Responsibilities

To ensure own team sales target are met:

  • To identify and monitor new project launching, market information and product trend development.
  • To submit KPI Data Collection to direct superior (every 7th of the month).
  • To update sales progress to Sales Director on weekly basis (Monday).
  • To conduct / attend weekly sales meeting (Monday) and update the following:
  1. Update the progress for existing follow up project.
  2. Update accumulated individual sales target.
  3. Identify new potential clients / projects and to approach accordingly.
  4. To discuss the quotation submitted and discount structure allowed.

To ensure the targeted GP are met:

  •  To consult with direct superior (Senior Manager / Team Leader) on the project discount structure for each tender or project with direct negotiation.

Establish excellent working relationships with local projects customers

  •  To attend sales or site related appointments individually or with team members.

To ensure all customers requirement are met at all time

  • To brief project designers on drawing request and to ensure the accuracy of the drawings completed by the project designer before submitting to client.
  • To check all works completed by own sales team to ensure the accuracy of work which inclusive of:
  1.  Quotation
  2.  Material Specification List
  3. Appliances proposal
  4. Sample board
  5. Presentation slides
  6. All preparations before the presentation (e.g. presentation board)
  7. Tender calculation and fill-in BQ
  8. All tender related document (coordinate in preparing BG/Bank draft, collect tender documents, photocopying of tender documents and to complete tender submission together with supported documents/preliminaries)
  9. Prepare BQ format and fill-in the BQ (design and built basis contract)
  10. Preparation before tender interview
  11. Revised tender submission
  12. Drawing proposal (if necessary)
  13. To submit tender, sample board etc. (if necessary)
  14. Show unit / mock-up FCF/SR/SI/PDI/WO submission
  15. Attending VIPs/end user enquiries - the whole process of requirement
  16. Sourcing new supplier as to match tender requirements - dealing on new material
  17. Design planning

Leadership

  • To coach sales team and project designers in their respective day to day work.
  • To guide and resolve issues/problems encounter by sales executive and project designer.
  • To manage and guide sales teams to achieve sales target and process improvement.
  • To support and assist sales team with their sales activities. For examples: sales & prospects generation.

After securing the project:

  • To coordinate with the client for show unit/mock-up shop drawings and material sample approval.
  • To compile and brief contract and operation department the details of the newly secured project.
  • To coordinate with the client for show unit/mockup approval.
  • To follow-up show unit payment collect.
  • To attend site meeting/visit/inspection (if needed or upon request).
  • To assist in tabulating VOs.

Job Requirements

  • Experienced in kitchen cabinet, Interior design or architectural related field. 
  • Good knowledge in mathematics. 
  • Attention to details. 
  • Well organized in work related matters. 
  • Able to meet short completion lead time. 
  • Able to guide and coach sales team in achieving sales target. 
  • Highly self-discipline. 
  • Good time management.  
  • Able to present proposed design concept to clients. 
  • Able to handle project tender independently.
