Mechanical Engineer

Responsible for managing and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment in the AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) production plant to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The role includes troubleshooting mechanical issues, supporting maintenance activities, and implementing improvements to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance.

• To develop and establish maintenance plans, including resources, system, strategy, and timeline.
• Establish and maintain records for Preventive Maintenance programmes.
• To execute and monitor project plans according to the timeline.
• Supervise and guide the maintenance team in their day-to-day activities.
• To ensure the maintenance team acquires technical skills so that maintenance jobs are carried out according to the best practice standard.
• To oversee & attend to daily machine breakdowns and take necessary actions when required.
• Other duties assigned from time to time.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in maintenance as a mechanical engineer.
• Strong technical knowledge, analytical & problem-solving skills.
• Understand machinery principles (e.g., Hydraulic machines, Ball mill, agitator, pumps, etc.).
• Hands-on and able to lead by example.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
