Product Manager
Job Summary
The Product Manager is responsible for driving the end-to-end development, lifecycle management, and marketing of home appliances or consumer electronic products. This role ensures strategic alignment across product development, sourcing, marketing, operations, and sales functions, delivering value across both retail and project markets.
Job Responsibilities
Product Developments Sourcing:
• Manage the development of new products tailored to the retail and project markets.
• Conduct product and factory sourcing, ensuring specifications and pricing align with market needs.
• Perform comprehensive market surveys and competitor analysis.
• Develop marketing and pricing strategies.
• Oversee product testing and ensure full compliance with government certifications.
Product Life Cycle Management:
•Manage the entire product life cycle, from launch to discontinuation.
•Initiate new product launch programs and analyze sales trends.
•Devise and execute promotional activities for both sell-in and sell-out strategies.
•Oversee inventory control, including stock ordering, aging management, and SKU discontinuation.
Advertising & Promotion:
•Lead the team in strategizing and executing ACP activities, with a strong focus on digital marketing.
•Manage social media content creation, e-commerce marketing, digital advertisements, SEO, and SEM.
•Administer promotions, trade & consumer campaigns, and dealer incentive programs.
•Coordinate the creation of marketing collateral.
Budget Plannings Financial Monitoring:
•Plan the budget for the upcoming financial year.
•Monitor ATL & BTL expenditures to ensure alignment with financial goals.
Sales Analysis s Operational Management:
•Prepare sales analysis reports and coordinate shipping with suppliers and forwarders.
•Handle after-sales support and customer inquiries.
•Monitor day-to-day operational tasks to ensure seamless business operations.
Communications Coordination:
•Ensure smooth workflow by coordinating across inter-departmental teams and external stakeholders.
Ad Hoc Responsibilities:
•Undertake additional duties assigned by management to support overall sales and marketing objectives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the retail or project markets. Strong knowledge of market research, competitor analysis, and pricing strategies. Experience in digital marketing, SEO, SEM, and e-commerce strategies. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
SKILLS:
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, etc.) and basic HTML for web management.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience optimizing content for search engines.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with teams and customers.
