Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to lead and coordinate end-to-end delivery across a diverse portfolio — spanning ERP implementations, mobile application development, business transformation programmes, and IT consulting engagements. In this mid-level role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will play a key role in bridging technical and business requirements, adapting your approach to suit the nature of each project, and driving structured outcomes across the organisation.

Job Responsibilities

Project Planning & Delivery

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation frameworks.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery across varied project types including ERP implementations (SAP and/or Oracle), mobile application development, IT consulting engagements, and business transformation programmes.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct project status reviews and ensure timely resolution of blockers and dependencies.

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders across business units and IT.
  • Prepare and present clear, concise project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to senior leadership.
  • Facilitate steering committee meetings, project reviews, and workshops.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Document decisions, action items, and escalation paths effectively.

Vendor & Third-Party Management

  • Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors, implementation partners, and consultants.
  • Review and track vendor deliverables, SLAs, and contractual obligations.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and provide feedback to senior management.
  • Negotiate timelines and scope changes with vendors in alignment with project objectives.

Business Transformation & Change Management

  • Support business transformation initiatives by working with process owners to understand current-state workflows and future-state requirements.
  • Partner with change management leads to develop communication plans, training programmes, and adoption strategies.
  • Ensure IT solutions are aligned with broader business strategy and operational needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance project outcomes.

Governance & Methodology

  • Apply both Agile/Scrum and traditional Waterfall (or hybrid) methodologies based on project requirements.
  • Maintain project governance standards including RAID logs, change control registers, and project charters.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational PMO standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of project management templates, guidelines, and frameworks.
