Senior Clerk
Job Summary
The Senior Clerk is responsible for supporting daily operational and administrative functions related to inventory control, production tracking, and data management.
Job Responsibilities
Daily Materials Usage Updates
- Track and update the usage of raw materials and production components on a daily basis.
- Reconcile material records against physical usage and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Work closely with the production and warehouse teams to verify usage figures.
Issuing Production Sheets
- Prepare and issue daily production sheets based on production plans and schedules.
- Ensure that production teams receive timely and accurate documentation to facilitate smooth operations.
- Maintain proper filing of all production-related documents.
Month-End Inventory Closing
- Compile inventory reports and support month-end closing activities.
- Reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system data.
- Submit finalized month-end inventory reports to the finance or inventory control department within deadlines.
SAP System Data Entry
- Accurately input production and inventory data into the SAP system.
- Maintain data integrity and ensure entries reflect actual operations.
- Generate relevant reports from SAP as requested by management or other departments.
Administrative Support
- Maintain organized records and documentation related to inventory and production activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., warehouse, production, procurement) for document flow and follow-up.
Job Requirements
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in Business Administration, Inventory Management, or related field.
- At least 2–3 years of working experience in administrative or clerical roles, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and experience in using ERP systems such as SAP.
- Good attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
